It's Day 9 of the Challenge!
Linked up with Sar! :)
{9} Tell us the best day of your life to date.
I felt similar to you, Sar! This is pretty hard because I haven't had any major life events like having a baby or getting married. I've had so many great days and good things happen.
I can't pick just one so I'll tell you about a few of the best days!
Moving in with Chris about 4 years ago. We had been dating a year and a half, I just started my job a couple months before. He was about to start law school. It was such a nerve-racking time for him but it was so exciting to move in together and begin our life as an "adult" couple.
The day I passed my Masters level licensing exam. This was a couple years ago and was such a rewarding feeling and a huge relief. I was finally able to be a therapist!
Last week when I found out about my new position at work (you can read more about that here) I am so happy/excited/relieved to get the job so that was a really really good day!
I really liked today's prompt because I've had a pretty crappy past few days (see the same post I referenced earlier..) I'm usually a very happy blogger and hate writing about serious stuff but that's life and of course I have bad days. Today's prompt forced me to think about some of the good stuff in my life which definitely helped cheer me up :)
This was such a nice post! Perfect for a Monday pick-me-up!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to reflect on some of the good in your life (after such a rough past few days)! Thinking of you!

ReplyDeletethose are definitely great days in your life for sure! i have been having some crappy days too but your post has got me thinking my life really isn't all that crappy to be honest
