This weekend was wonderful, even though I spent most of it drugged on Theraflu with a box of tissues by my side. Maybe it was the stress of starting a new job and lack of sleep, or maybe it's just because it's sick season, but this cold hit me smack dab in time for the weekend!
Thankfully we didn't have much planned and it gave me even more of an excuse to be lazy.
Let me start by bragging about how amazing my guy is.
He took a sick day on Friday (yeah, we both caught it, but mine's worse. He just has available sick time and I don't!) I came home from work, exhausted, and the whole apartment was clean. He got me donuts on Sunday morning. And made me homemade mac n cheese for dinner on Sunday. He kept me laughing even when I was feeling completely terrible. I promised Chris I wouldn't post the pictures, but he decided it would be funny to try and fit in my DSW box from the other day. Needless to say it broke and it was hilarious. How great is he?
So, most of the weekend was just spent relaxing, finishing decorating, and, of course, eating. It was great!
We don't have a fireplace... or a mantle. So, above the TV it is this year!
So excited for Clementine season. These will probably be gone tomorrow.
Garland up the banister and upstairs! Love it!
I hope your weekend was just as great (well, minus the sick part). Now it's time for another busy week...here we go!!!
In case you missed it, Leigh is hosting a giveaway! I'm giving away a few of my favorite purse essentials, so you'll definitely want to check it out! Click here to enter!
