Chris recently took a trip to St. Louis to visit his brother and sister-in-law. They ate authentic chips and rarebit so he wanted to duplicate that delicious appetizer. Soft pretzels were made into bites by cutting apart dough instead of twisting. We didn't add the butter to the pretzels after baking because the rarebit was more than enough flavor!
